As we looked at the commentaries used by preachers, teachers and seminaries we realized there was potentially "human error" and a form of mythology inserted to help explain the unexplainable.  As an example note that it is possible to pick up five commentaries on Joseph, Prime Minister of Egypt, concerning the entrance of the Israelites in to Egypt, AND it is possible that no two of the commentaries agree on when this happened and what pharaoh was involved.  This seems like an obvious breakdown in historical understanding of the Bible.  They cannot all have different ideas/accounts and all of them be right.  As we looked at the possibility of 5 having different ideas we realized that four of five must be wrong, AND there was no reason to think the fifth was right either.............Our first assignment was to find Joseph of Egypt which we did, and we release it in our book: The Bible Plumb Line: Death of Joseph.
